Iam in final term of my 15 month programme and there's something unusual is going on.
In my class i found that every professor started to suggest us to view the world, according to their respective subject point of view. E.g. in rural marketing we are viewing the market according the rural point of view. India has 12% of world's population as rural population. so, if we will target rural, as a marketer we will be successful in our career by achieving the goal and target of organisation. So think "Rural".
Latin America has population of around 569 million. The market of Latin America is untapped, as a marketer you are having a huge opportunity there. So if we will target the market of Latin America, we will have a brighter future. This is according to International Marketing Point of view.
whether you are going to rural or international; if you are able to understand the mind of consumer; you will be successful. so try to understand the consumer behaviour. this is according to "consumer behaviour" point of view.
Build the Brand and customer & market will follow your product. Concentrate on Brand Building Exercising; and Brand Identity will give you rural and international market.
This is Brand Management point of view.
what is the Brand?
what is rural?
who is international customer?
Consumer behaviour????
Nothing has happened and nothing will happen, till tha time somebody will sell something.
leave brand mgmt. guy alone, and see the sales at end of the quarter. If they will achieve one-tenth of targeted sales, we will work freely for org. as a salespersonal.
So the moot point is sales and distribution. Motivate your sales force and the batallion will win the war by following the "Art of War".
Everything will be under your control if you can sell.
This is the aggressive Sales and distribution management point of view.
There are a lots of other point of view, namely Internet Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Marketing Communication, Retail Management, Strategy Management, Service Marketing...
I am wondering that what will be MY point of view after two months, when i will be in the centre of market.
